Formed in Gainesville, FL in 2008, HOT GRAVES crept into being blending the driving ferociousness of D-Beat / Hardcore Punk / Crossover Thrash with the brutality of Death Metal and the sprinklings of Black Metal into one raging amalgamation of sonic hatred!!! Currently experiencing a rejuvenation with some fresh blood added to the mix, HOT GRAVES is dead, hot and ready to manifest Hell-Beat fury on the planet Earth!
Joining founding members Myk Colby and Tim Hutchens, are Jamie Stewart (also of The Absence, Disevered, Party Time) on vocal attack, and John Mamo (PYRE (US), No Fraud, Party Time) on the battery of inanimate objects. This line-up most recently completed a EP entitled Haunted Graves in the Spring of this past year... And since Magnificent Death never received more than a cassette release, Redefining Darkness are happy to bring this incredible album to CD with the addition of this brand new EP! With two full length albums, Knights In White Phosphorus and Magnificent Death, three 7” vinyl record releases, and a handful of demos, the HOT GRAVES catalog extends further than folks might realize...
In 2020, HOT GRAVES are poised to set about continuing their plan to destroy the world...

never been a big death metal fan but this is actually super accessible for the genre, has fun concepts, and personally i'm always a fan of albums with short tracklists and huge runtimes (for individual songs) Great time, good jumping on point for newbies too. alienasu
